Daily Schedule 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. Breakfast and Registration 8:00 - 12:00 noon Class Time. Breaks will be scheduled as appropriate to material. Noon - 1:00 p.m. Lunch - to be served in adjoining area 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. Class Time. Breaks as appropriate.
DAY #1
Section 2,3,& 4: Introduction to the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Requirements of the Act, the General Duty Clause, Safety Program requirements, Employer and Employee Rights and Responsibilities. Whistleblower and 11c Protections; Inspections, Citations and Penalties; Recordkeeping; The OSHA Website and 800 number, how to access OSHA materials & resources; Focused inspections, the Four Focus Hazards and where they will be covered in this program. New OSHA Notices/Standards/ Revisions. 2 1/2 hrs
Section 5: General Safety & Health Provisions Subpart C Competent & Qualified Persons, STD 3-1.1: 1 hr
Section 6: Hazard Communication Subpart D: 1 hr
Section 8: Fire Protection and Prevention, Subpart F: 1hr
Section 7: Personal Protective Equipment and Lifesaving Equipment, Subpart E: 2 hrs
Section 9: Signs, Signals, & Barricades, Subpart G: 1/2 hr
